OUR HISTORY

K. E. Carmel C.M.I. School SARSUNA was originally established by the CMI fathers at CMI Dharmaniketan, Behala in the year 2010 under the able leadership of Rev. Fr. Joseph Puthenpura CMI and Rev. Fr. Joshy Mayamparambil CMI.

Fr. Joseph Puthenpura CMI served as the Manager of the School then. On 5th of April, 2011, the school was inaugurated under the blissful blessings of Rev. Fr. Saju SVD. Rev. Fr. Varghese Puthiyaveedu CMI was the first principal of the school.

In the beginning the institution served as the feeding school for K.E. Carmel C.M.I School, Amtala and started its stupendous journey with only 21 students in Nursery and LKG. The parents were immensely impressed by the overall guidance of the school towards nurturing their children in the field of education as well as imparting moral values. With their immense support and enthusiasm, the school was later upgraded till Class 5.

At present, the school is being run successfully by 10 qualified as well as dignified teaching faculties imparting quality education to 270 students under the able supervision of Rev. Fr. Sebastian Chamathara CMI, Secretary of K.E. Carmel Group of Schools in West Bengal and effective direction of Rev. Fr. Sebastian Munduvelil CMI as the Principal.

K. E. Carmel School Sarsuna imparts the highest and the noblest form of education to the students in and around Sarsuna. It is one of the best schools in Sarsuna that imparts generous thoughts within the students and lead each and every one of them to rise to the epitome of their spirits. The school caters the best education with the most modern techniques and boasts of a class no less in comparison to an elite school of the city.
